Meet the Team
As Colorado natives, Spenser and Venessa have both desired to build a business that would serve their community.
Spenser joined the A-1 Septic family in January 2024. With his strong work ethic and commitment to quality, Dave, the former owner, presented Spenser the opportunity to take over A-1. Together with his wife, Venessa, they acquired the company in the summer of 2024.
They have continued to uphold the values and commitment to serve the community with honesty and professionalism.
Spenser
Owner Operator
Born and raised in the Front Range, Spenser loves being able to serve his community. From a young age, Spenser has had an aptitude for working with his hands and bringing something back to life. He has an enthusiasm for helping others, leading to special care for his customers.
Spenser holds a Class A CDL. Previous to owning A-1 Septic, he worked in construction, operating heavy machinery. In his spare time, he enjoys mechanizing on project cars and fixing up his and Venessa’s home.
Venessa
Owner & Office Manager
Venessa was born and raised in the Thornton area. She’s always been interested in entrepreneurship. Venessa holds a Masters in Organizational Leadership, bringing her business acumen to A-1 Septic by ensuring customers are well taken care of.
Venessa enjoys reading, working out and spending time with her and Spenser’s son, Wesley. When the weather permits, she spends a lot of time outside with their dog Belle.
Travis
Pumper, Inspector & Service Manager
Travis is Spenser’s older brother and also raised on the Front Range. Travis’s background in management allows him to juggle both pumping and service work. He is a visionary for the future of A-1 Septic, helping to expand in new areas.
Travis is married to his high school sweetheart, Jessica, and has one daughter, Jordian. They have several animals (dogs, cats, fish, and a bird named Tango) that they consider part of their family. In his free time, Travis enjoys hunting and taking his fishing boat out.
